It is a diterpenoid compound with anti-tumour activity. It binds specifically to the tubulin subunit of microtubule and appears to antagonise the disassembly of this cytoskeletal protein. | Composition : | 2.5mg/2.5ml,4mg/4ml | | Indication : | Metastatic ovarian and breast cancer. | | Dosage :- | 175 mg per square metre by iv infusion over 3 hrs. repeat every 3 weeks.
